The Quest for the Grail Have you ever been in a situation were you were looking for a solution to a problem, but that solution was just out reach? That was me when it came to my health - specifically my weight. I tried everything from low carb, high protein diets to Weight Watchers and even Herbalife. But by November of 2000, my weight had ballooned to a whooping 467 pounds. Something had to change. Listen to the program overview:

Tech Savvy couldn't exist without the support of our partners. As we continue to grow, the amount of time and effort involved in providing our listeners with useful information (not to mention entertainment!) increases dramatically. And sometimes it's not easy to keep the lights on and food on the table while we scour the technological world to find great stories. So please consider supporting the Savvy Crew by sending us your ideas, through Your Voice, or email any one of us in the Contact Us section. You can also help us by supporting our partners through their ads in the right panel, and by tuning into the Markeplace PodCenter. And finally, you can help us keep the show going by making a donation to Tech Savvy through the PayPal donation button (provided by Basement Web Services.) Your financial support will help us keep bringing you great features and new ideas, and continue to keep you up-to-date on life in the 21st century. Thanks! |

Over the holidays, the Tech Savvy elves have been pretty busy putting together a new look for the magazine. We've pretty much outgrown the "old" Tech Savvy, and you've been asking for more new features than we could deliver with the tools we had in the past. So we're proud to unveil our new style, and let you know about some of the cool features coming in the next few months.
Our Partners Before we get into what's new, I have to say that Tech Savvy couldn't have gotten this far without the support of our partners. And we've assembled a pretty good team of folks who can help you as much as they help us. So please show your support by visiting the partner links in the lower right corner, and don't miss the wealth of information we and our partners provide in our new Marketplace PodCenter. All-New Sections You'll notice up above that we've added several new sections to help you find what you're looking for. Read on to see what's in store. |

Mark's Two Cents: Tech Etiquette |

As I check my pockets for my two cents this week, I find myself perplexed. I have covered the growth of technology professionally for nearly five years, but I didn’t realize until recently just how obsessed we’ve become with it. Our smartphones, iPods, PDAs and satellite radios are wonderful toys, and they make our lives much more enjoyable, but I have to ask a question: Is it really necessary for Mary to text Stacy about her boyfriend's new tattoo on his left butt cheek while she’s doing 80 MPH down the interstate? |
